The Versar Homeland Defense Team

In response to this threat Versar has assembled a team that can quickly and efficiently assess your vulnerability and risk from terrorist attack, industrial accidents, and natural disasters. The Versar Team develops solutions to mitigate those risks using state-of-the-art management, architectural engineering, construction, and physical security practices for protecting workers, hardening facilities, containing explosions and releases of chemical or biological agent or other toxic material, and for securing facilities, critical operations, communications systems, and corporate data.

Our team includes a consortium of in-house consultants and specialty firms covering a wide range of capability and experience with these issues. The Versar Team of experts brings to the customer specialized knowledge of technology and equipment available for the detection of an event, as well as personnel protection, decontamination, emergency response and disaster recovery support to a terrorist attack, industrial accident or natural disaster event.

Versar will organize a team to work with the customer's organization to assess current conditions, perform engineering studies, modify structures, and systems or operating procedures to reduce and mitigate their risk to personnel, corporate assets, and public health and safety.

Our key personnel include security and force protection experts, recognized experts in vulnerability assessment, experts in chemical and biological warfare and defense, and architects and engineers involved in homeland security projects.
